Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency is seeking a Head of Physical and Personnel Security to lead protective security across physical and personnel security, vetting and resilience. You will provide expert guidance to senior leaders and governance forums, translating policy into practice and assuring government standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy to the Head of Cyber Security on protective security matters.
• Represent DVSA at senior governance forums and advise the Executive Team.
• Lead the development and implementation of protective security strategy and controls.
• Oversee personnel security and vetting capability with end-to-end processes.
• Coordinate with DfT, UKSV, Cabinet Office and Government partners.
• Provide leadership for physical security, incident management and resilience.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a security-minded culture.
• Ensure threat-informed, risk-based and proportionate security arrangements.
