Job description
Director of People & Culture, 6 - 9 month FTC - Charity - London with hybrid working - £64,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a Director of People or an experienced Head of HR to join an amazing charity providing vital services across London.

You will be responsible for building and developing the HR function and shaping an inclusive, high‑performing culture. Your key accountabilities include:

  • Providing strategic leadership and overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of the HR team
  • Delivering the transformational People strategy
  • Working with the Senior Leadership Team to align culture across the organisation
  • Building strong relationships with the Trade Union, leading on complex change projects and ER issues
  • Reviewing and improving HR policies and processes including EDI initiatives
  • Improving staff engagement and helping to ensure they are an employer of choice
Qualifications & Experience

You should be an immediately available Director of People or an experienced Head of HR with a track record of leading and motivating an HR function. Excellent knowledge of employment law combined with experience of managing change projects and complex employee relations issues is required. Ability to work both strategically and operationally is essential. CIPD qualification is desirable.
