Job description

Eames are exclusively partnering with private equity backed solar energy business to hire an Operations Director.

The Operations Director will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the solar energy business, from project development and procurement through to installation, maintenance, and quality control.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities
  • Own End-to-End Project Lifecycle for all solar installations, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and Execute Operational Strategy to drive capacity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Optimise Processes across all operational workflows, including field team deployment and installation logistics.
  • Ensure Full Compliance with all relevant industry standards, MCS requirements, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Oversee Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics, negotiating supplier contracts for cost-effectiveness and timely component delivery.
  • Direct and Manage the Project Management, Installation, Technical, and Service/Maintenance teams, setting clear KPIs.
  • Ensure Cross-Functional Alignment with Sales and Finance to match operational capacity with the sales pipeline.
