A charity organization in England is seeking a Director of Finance and Resources to lead financial management and HR functions. The role involves advising the Trustee board, overseeing financial planning and budgeting, and ensuring alignment of HR strategies with the charity's objectives. We are excited to be recruiting for a Director of Finance and Resources to be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the financial management and HR functions within the Charity. Working closely with the CEO as a member of the Executive team, the post holder will act as a strategic advisor to the Trustee board.
The candidate we are looking for will have proven experience in a senior level finance role, preferably within the voluntary sector. They will also have experience of leading an HR team with a proven ability to drive strategic HR initiatives.
Candidates should have excellent planning, communication and organisation skills and be able to effectively balance a substantial workload ranging from day-to-day tasks to strategic thinking. Joining an established team, the successful candidate will bring strong leadership as they build and maintain relationships across all areas of the Charity including the Trustee Board.
