Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge.
Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with a coaching style and strong delegation skills.
Strategic Capability: Demonstrated experience in shaping financial strategy, managing budgets, and influencing senior stakeholders.
Sector Knowledge: Confidence in working within highly regulated environments, ideally with charity governance and SORP experience.
Risk & Compliance Expertise: Skilled in risk management, audit processes, and safeguarding responsibilities.
Systems & Process Improvement: Experience in modernising finance systems and driving transformational change.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to influence and build collaborative relationships with trustees, volunteers, and external partners.
