Job summary

Apex Group in London is seeking a Head of Risk Framework to design, strengthen and oversee the Group's risk management framework. You will align policy, taxonomy and reporting with strategy, risk appetite and regulatory obligations while collaborating with executive management, Compliance, Legal and Internal Audit.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in enterprise risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks, risk appetite, risk assessment, controls, incident management, and policy governance.
• Experience operating in a global, multi-jurisdictional and complex organisation.
• Proven ability designing, implementing and embedding risk management frameworks and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, strengthen, maintain and oversee the Group Risk Management Framework, including policy standards and guidance.
• Maintain the Group risk taxonomy, classification matrix, risk appetite methodology and risk assessment approach.
• Facilitate group-level risk assessments and monitor escalation of material issues.
• Provide oversight for local and functional risk assessments to ensure consistency with Group standards.
• Support the Chief Risk Officer in escalating priority risk matters to executive management and the board.
• Design, maintain and oversee risk technology and data initiatives, including Riskonnect integration.
• Lead development of incident management, business continuity and policy governance frameworks.
• Lead the Risk Framework team, fostering succession and capability development.
