Director Of Engineering Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the engineering strategy across three international sites.
• Lead product development and manage redesign projects.
• Maintain compliance with Defence, SIL, and functional safety requirements.
• Oversee CAD / data management integration with ERP, resolving legacy system challenges.
• Ensure engineering performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
• Develop, inspire, and manage international engineering teams.

Experience Required

• Significant experience in product development.
• Strong background in mechanical and electrical / electronic engineering, instrumentation, and metrology.
• Expertise in functional safety, Defence, and SIL compliance.
• Proven success in managing complex data environments (CAD / ERP integration).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Educated to Master's or PhD level in Engineering.
• Credible leader with international team management experience.
