The ideal candidate will possess a degree-level education, extensive senior-level experience in diversity and organisational development, along with a strong track record in cultural transformation. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure DEI is embedded across all organisational practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
  • MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive senior-level experience in DEI and OD.
  • Proven track record of leading cultural transformation.
  • Strong strategic thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of DEI principles and workforce analytics.
  • Experience influencing at Board level and managing complex change programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of the Trust’s People and Culture Plan and Brilliant People strategy.
  • Drive cultural transformation and workforce engagement initiatives.
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion across all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead organisational development programmes and workforce education.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Chief People Officer, Executive Team and Trust Board.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed inclusive practices.
  • Manage transformational budgets and ensure value for money.
  • Role model Trust values and behaviours across the organisation.
Job description

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a visionary and values-driven leader to join our senior People team as Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and Organisational Development (OD). This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering our strategic ambitions for an inclusive, high-performing culture across the Trust. You will lead the development and implementation of our DEI and OD strategies, embedding them into every aspect of organisational life-from recruitment and leadership development to cultural transformation and staff experience.
