• Experience aligning delivery with business strategy and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams delivering digital platforms, applications, APIs, and cloud-native services
• Drive delivery outcomes, platform performance, resilience, and engineering quality
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, standards, and technology direction
• Build a high-performing engineering culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
• Partner with Product teams to align delivery with customer needs and priorities
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve journeys and efficiency
• Collaborate with Architecture, Risk and Information Security to ensure secure delivery
• Support recruitment, capability development, and career growth
• Represent Engineering in wider business discussions and strategic decisions
