Job summary

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a visionary Director of Digital Transformation to shape and deliver ambitious digital strategies across the council and affiliated services. You will steer a diverse portfolio including information governance, cyber security, infrastructure and technology services, contract management and optimal use of digital resources.

Job description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is synonymous with iconic London landmarks, rich culture and outstanding service delivery. As our new Director, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering digital transformation across the council and beyond. You will lead a diverse portfolio spanning information governance, cyber security, infrastructure and technology services, contract management, and the effective use of digital resources.

Royal Greenwich published its first Digital Strategy in 2020. The time is now right to refresh and build on that vision, ensuring we continue to embrace innovation, creativity and emerging technologies over the next four years and beyond.

An experienced and inspirational senior leader, you will play a critical enabling role, working collaboratively with chief officers, councillors and partners across the borough. Your appetite for innovation will be matched by a clear understanding of risk, governance and the importance of protecting council and resident data.
