Brighton College is looking for a Director of AI to lead a strategic, school-wide AI programme for pupils aged 11–18. The role involves curriculum development, staff leadership and external partnerships with academics and blue‑chip tech companies.

Reporting to the Head Master, you will drive policy, safeguarding and responsible AI use while shaping an ambitious, future‑oriented learning environment across the College and its network of schools.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AI curriculum for 11–18 age group.
• Proven leadership of school AI initiatives and programmes.
• Ability to collaborate with external researchers, industry partners and tech companies.
• Experience in governance, safeguarding, data protection and ethics in education.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, development and delivery of a progressive AI curriculum for 11–18 pupils.
• Line-manage teaching staff and work with the Senior Management Team.
• Develop AI policies, governance, safeguarding and ethics within the College.
• Collaborate with external academics, industry partners and the Futures team.
