Job summary

MRJ Recruitment Limited is seeking a Director of Product to own the vision, shape the roadmap and lead a next-generation, AI-native product organisation. You’ll guide small, autonomous teams to build, launch and scale intelligent products used by millions across the UK.

You’ll work closely with the CEO/Founder and COO, applying strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive ARR growth and commercial performance while embedding AI into product workflows and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Product in startup / high growth B2C environments.
• Strong product leadership driving roadmap ownership, prioritisation, and customer-centric delivery.
• Experience embedding AI into products and workflows, identifying high-impact use cases.
• An experimentation mindset, constantly testing, learning, and iterating to validate ideas.
• Technical credibility to shape architecture and guide engineering, even if not coding daily.
• A commercial mindset, you understand how product decisions drive revenue and growth.
• Confident stakeholder leadership balancing speed, quality and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product vision & roadmap aligned to growth and outcomes.
• Lead innovation across B2C Web/Mobile and B2B SaaS with AI focus.
• Build and scale AI-powered products from zero to one including MVPs.
• Work hands-on with LLMs (Claude, GPT) to unlock new capabilities.
• Design AI-enhanced engineering workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Translate market insight into clear, actionable priorities.
• Partner cross-functionally to drive ARR growth and performance.
• Provide technical leadership on architecture, scalability, security and resilience.
• Lead a high-performing agile technology team with pace and quality.
• Drive end-to-end execution from discovery to release and iteration.
• Support expansion through M&A, shaping platform strategy and integrations.
