This is your opportunity to join Deloitte's market-leading M&A Operations team and work on the largest, most complex and high-profile deals in the UK and globally.
You will be working on high profile acquisitions, disposals and carve outs for prominent corporate businesses and private equity houses across a range of sectors and geographies.
With your strong experience of M&A HR due diligence and your impressive range of M&A consulting skills, you will be working on a wide variety of projects within a highly commercial environment. Benefiting from significant client exposure and working alongside some of the top practitioners in the field, you will be leading throughout the M&A deal lifecycle.
The fast-growing M&A Operations team focuses on operational aspects throughout the transaction lifecycle, including pre-deal due diligence, performance improvement evaluations, synergy and carve-out assessments, divestments, pre-deal full potential assessments and post-deal 100-day plans. The team comprises highly experienced practitioners with a background in HR, pensions, share plans, and the operational elements of acquisitions and divestments and is a core part of Deloitte's market-leading M&A Transaction Services group. Collectively we are a group of over 600 professionals who provide M&A related expertise to corporate organisations, private equity houses and financial institutions. We are widely recognised as the most experienced, dedicated team in EMEA, supporting transactions across all industry sectors. We have worked on over 1,000 of the largest and most complex M&A transactions, divestments, joint venture creations and restructurings.

Your role will be to provide HR Due Diligence expertise to businesses across industry sectors. You will deliver services ranging across exit readiness, vendor due diligence, acquiror due diligence, and post-signing deep-dive reviews.

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
