Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Director, Project Controls for major infrastructure programmes in the UK. The role demands end-to-end controls leadership across schedule, cost, risk and change to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will guide senior stakeholders, mentor a team of specialists, and drive performance improvements using KPI-driven controls in a complex, multi-project environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field and management qualifications.
• Experience in planning & scheduling and cost management on major projects.
• Experience in risk management, change control, information management, and reporting.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project controls services for large, complex projects.
• Monitor performance using KPIs to drive project improvements.
• Lead multiple project controls functions: risk, schedule, cost, scope and change.
• Interface with senior stakeholders to ensure objectives meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Support PMO project controls service development and delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered to required quality, on time and within budget.
• Align project controls with client objectives.
