Director Human Resources – Permanent
Location: London
Salary: £90,000 - £140,000 - salary dependent on experience. We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of HR to provide high-quality, high-touch HR leadership to the Global Infrastructure business while building a Global Mobility centre of excellence. This senior role will play a critical part in shaping and executing people strategies that support growth, talent development, and operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources, with a dotted line to the Global Co-Heads of Infrastructure, this role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior business leadership and play a key role on various Global Committees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end Annual Compensation Review process, leveraging market intelligence, performance data, and business indicators.
  • Drive all training and performance processes, ensuring alignment with global policies and local execution.
  • Manage lateral recruitment and early careers programs from sourcing through to offer, in close partnership with Infrastructure leadership, local HR teams, and external partners.
  • Oversee internal transfers, employee relations matters, and ensure seamless execution of employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and probation management.
  • Manage work authorization and visa processes, ensuring compliance and a smooth employee experience.
Global Mobility
  • Lead all secondment and relocation processes, including work authorization, visa coordination, pay and benefits management, logistics, and communication.
  • Build and develop a Global Mobility framework that supports strategic workforce planning and global deployment of talent.
General HR
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of firm-wide initiatives such as wellness, employer branding, and engagement programs.
  • Provide support and coverage for local and international HR teams as required.
  • Deliver ad hoc HR reporting, HRIS integration, and project work to support business needs.
  • Manage end-to-end regulatory exams (CISI) for all graduate and lateral hires.
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive HR leadership experience within financial services; investment banking exposure strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise across talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee relations in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to leverage data and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • CIPD qualification preferred but not essential.
