Job summary

KPMG International Cooperative is seeking a Director of Healthcare - Data Security and Data Protection to lead data security and privacy engagements for healthcare clients in the UK. The role focuses on protecting sensitive data, enabling secure data use, and strengthening governance across healthcare and public sector engagements.

You will originate opportunities, lead multi-disciplinary teams and shape propositions with Microsoft and ServiceNow to deliver differentiated healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and NHS information governance expectations.
• Experience delivering privacy, information governance and data security engagements at scale.
• Commercial awareness with track record of origination and delivery in healthcare data projects.
• Ability to recruit, develop and lead cross-functional teams across privacy, data security and cloud.
• Proven ability to translate data protection risk into business outcomes and patient trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead go-to-market for data security and data protection in healthcare.
• Drive growth across healthcare and broader public sector opportunities.
• Build relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and privacy leads within healthcare.
• Oversee engagements spanning privacy, data lifecycle, secure data sharing and protection controls.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team with cyber and privacy delivery capabilities.
