This is a Hybrid remote/in-office position, based in our Birmingham studio.

We are looking for a Director, Game Product Management, reporting to the VP/GM of the F1 Studio in Birmingham. You will partner with the Studio leadership team to oversee all operational aspects of the business, including establishing functional processes and improving operational efficiency.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Accomplish a clear vision for new franchise live service mode targeting player experience and business-driven goals
  2. Promote the future direction and goals of the franchise to empower important partners when making decisions impacting multiple franchise years and the full project scope
  3. Review data and make decisions on where the live service needs to focus
  4. Coordinate with creative director and producer/development director on implementing those changes
  5. Communicate product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners to ensure integration of the Live Service mode with the wider UI/UX and feature set
  6. Oversee commercial performance of the F1 Live Service business
  7. Advocate goal-driven feature design and roadmap planning across features, titles, and the F1 HD franchise
  8. Develop framework for economy design considering gameplay, genre, platform, and business model
  9. Utilize expert understanding of acquisition, engagement, and monetization 'hooks' and 'levers' for live service performance
  10. Establish a culture of innovation, continuous learning, experimentation, and validation
  11. Manage business planning and portfolio strategy across multiple F1 HD titles
  12. Lead the product management team overseeing daily project direction

Requirements

  1. At least 5+ years of live service experience on previous titles
  2. Expert understanding of game systems and their impact on indicators
  3. Expertise in economy management, with experience running economies for multiple titles over several years in live service
  4. Willingness to research and play other major Live Service implementations to understand the landscape and language of successful modes
  5. Experience working within large organizations and cross-collaborating across teams
  6. Experience building multi-year strategies in cross-functional environments
