Job summary

Barclay Simpson Recruitment is seeking a Director-level Enterprise Security Architecture leader to own security architecture direction and technology strategy within a large, global organisation. The role is focused on leadership and executive advisory rather than hands-on engineering.

You will lead a team of specialist security architects across network, cloud, AI and enterprise security, acting as a trusted adviser to the CISO and senior technology leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant enterprise security architecture experience.
• Executive presence with ability to advise CISO and senior technology leaders.
• Experience across cloud, networks, AI and modern security technologies.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security architects across network, cloud, AI and enterprise security.
• Advise the CISO and senior technology leadership on security strategy and architecture.
• Own architectural standards and design patterns for the organisation.
• Shape the security architecture direction and technology strategy for major programmes.
• Engage with external industry forums to bring market developments back into the organisation.
