Job summary

FRP Advisory Group is seeking a Director to lead debt advisory mandates and drive business development in a high-impact role. You will work with partners to deliver superior client outcomes, manage complex transactions, and help grow the team’s market presence.

You will mentor junior colleagues, refine financial models and presentations, and stay ahead of debt market developments. This role emphasizes strategic thinking, collaboration, and delivering value to private equity and corporate clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, or corporate finance.
• Proven track record of leading transactions and managing client relationships.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strategic, commercially minded leadership and teamwork.

• Lead the execution of debt advisory transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation of financing solutions.

• Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations.
• Provide strategic input on capital structure optimisation and financing strategy.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on technical and commercial aspects of transactions.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including origination of new mandates and participation in pitch processes.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key lenders, including banks, debt funds, and alternative finance providers.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging financing structures.

Role Overview
