Harvey is seeking a highly skilled solicitor to lead the EMEA Commercial legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will work with Go-To-Market to ensure fast, efficient execution of customer agreements, with exposure to product, privacy, and competition issues.

This fast-moving startup-like environment serves some of the world’s leading law firms and professional organizations. You will lead international strategy, mentor managers, and hire as we expand in the UK and EU.

Formación

• UK or Dublin-based solicitor with 12+ years experience, commercial or technology division of a leading private practice, and in-house with a technology company supporting SaaS or GTM teams.
• Experience building and leading high-functioning teams in legal environments.
• Strong transactional background in technology/IP licensing and government sales is a plus.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled solicitor to lead our EMEA Commercial legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will primarily interface with our Go-To-Market team to help ensure the fast, efficient execution of our agreements with customers, and you will also have exposure to product, privacy and competition issues.

And this role will put you in the center of all of this.

More specifically, you will:

Lead the international multi-office Commercial legal function in the UK and EU, continuing to build a strong substantive, organizational and relationship foundation for the legal presence in the region

Mentor and lead a high-functioning team (including managers) in the drafting, review, and negotiation Commercial AI SaaS contracts

Hire others in the region as we expand

What You Have

UK or Dublin-based solicitor with 12+ years experience, both with the commercial or technology division of a leading private practice law firm, and subsequently in-house with a technology company supporting SaaS or technology Go-To-Market or Business Development teams

Experience building and managing high-functioning teams

Transactional background, including with technology and/or IP licensing commercial agreements

Experience with government sales is a plus, as is working internationally with US-based leadership

Ability to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environment

Team-focused and collaborative work style; willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice

Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude

Bonus qualifications include experience with AI, and a love for solving hard problems with a small tight-knit team
