Job summary

Avison Young is seeking a senior BD leader to drive Global Enterprise Services for Project Management & Consulting across EMEA and APAC from London. You will originate opportunities, manage multi-country bids, and lead cross-border client relationships with senior stakeholders.

The role requires a deep understanding of enterprise project management, strong bid strategy, and a track record of winning multi-country mandates within commercial real estate services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior BD/account leadership in Project Management or CRE services.
• Proven ability to originate opportunities, win contracts and manage client relationships.
• Experience winning multi-country corporate mandates in CRE or related services.
• Deep understanding of enterprise PM and decision-making in large organizations.
• Familiar with PJM, cost management, PMO, workplace consulting.
• Experience with a full-service CRE firm and strong bid strategy and negotiation skills.
• International experience across EMEA/APAC and ability to navigate cross-border markets.
• Desirable familiarity with proptech/AI for origination and governance; CRM experience including Salesforce.
• Postgraduate qualification and/or RICS/APM/PRINCE2 beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the EMEA/APAC business development strategy for PMC, including regional and global targets.
• Develop target market strategy across sectors, geographies, named accounts.
• Lead multi-country pursuits/origination, bids, MSAs and frameworks.
• Act as global/regional relationship lead for Enterprise PMC clients where applicable.
• Grow accounts into multi-service, multi-market relationships.
• Collaborate with Occupier, Country MDs, and service lines across Avison Young.
• Navigate complex markets where the firm has limited presence.
• Recruit and develop the Business Development team.

Role Purpose

Avison Young is strengthening its Global Enterprise Services - Project Management & Consulting (PMC) platform to support multi-market delivery for major corporate occupiers across EMEA and APAC.

This is the senior BD leader for PMC outside the Americas - responsible for origination, pipeline development, multi-country pursuits, proposals/pitches and global frameworks. This senior leader will work alongside the Americas Enterprise Client and Global Occupier teams to originate new global project management accounts, and where possible, the full platform of Avison Young services.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and own the EMEA/APAC business development strategy for Project Management & Consulting, including key regional and global targets.
• Develop target market strategy (sectors, geographies, named accounts).
• Lead global and multi-country pursuits/origination that lead to bids, MSAs, and frameworks.
• Act as global/regional relationship lead for Enterprise PMC clients where applicable.
• Grow accounts into multi-service, multi-market relationships.
• Partner across Avison Young services including Occupier, Country MDs, and service lines.
• Navigate complex markets where Avison Young has limited presence.
• Lead Business Development team recruitment and development.

Candidate Profile

Essential

• 10+ years senior BD/account leadership in Project Management or commercial real estate services
• Solid framework for origination and ability to secure opportunities, client relationships and ultimately wins/contracts.
• Proven record winning multi-country corporate mandates.
• Deep understanding of enterprise project manager and construction decision-making.
• Working knowledge of PJM, cost management, PMO, workplace, consulting.
• Experience with a full service commercial real estate firm
• Strong bid strategy, pricing, negotiation skills
• International experience across EMEA/APAC

Desirable

• Established network among global corporate real estate entities and project management clients.
• Experience in high-risk/fast-growth markets.
• Familiarity with proptech/AI for origination, sales strategy and portfolio governance.
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms including Salesforce
• RICS/APM/PRINCE2 or postgraduate business qualification.
