Job summary

Artefact UK is seeking a Director to helm AI and data strategy across a portfolio of clients. You will report to the Partners and Managing Director, owning the AI and data agenda, leading Tech Leads and Managers, and driving value through strategic and technical execution.

Based in London with hybrid working, you will shape engagements end to end, mentor talent, and contribute to Artefact7s growth by building reusable solutions and strong client relationships across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading AI and data projects with measurable client value.
• Proven ability to engage with C-suite and cross-functional teams.
• Deep expertise across AI technologies, data management and cloud.
• Experience in consulting environments and multi-market client growth.
• Mentor and develop data and AI talent within teams.

Responsibilities

• Technology leadership: map client opportunities to ML/AI or data solutions.
• AI use case leadership: ideation through deployment and improvement.
• Data analytics capability building: assess and uplift client maturity.
• Senior client advisory and stakeholder relationships: build trust at senior levels.
• Commercial ownership and business development: lead pitches and RFPs, drive pipeline.
