We are currently offering FREE TRAINING for individuals to provide 1:1 personal care for our ADULT CLIENTS in READING, PA.

As a BAYADA DCW, you will play an integral part of a caring and professional team by following a written plan of care implemented by a registered nurse to help our clients stay safe and independent in the comfort of their own home. You will have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while providing personal care, household support, and client interaction to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the written plan of care implemented by a registered nurse to assist clients in staying safe and independent at home.
  • Provide personal care, household support, and client interaction to improve quality of life.
  • Develop close relationships with clients while delivering compassionate, respectful care.
What You Will Learn
  • Basic regulatory compliance;
  • Personal care skills: hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding;
  • Range of motion exercises;
  • Ambulation and transfers (mechanical lifting devices and transfer boards);
  • Medication reminders, and much more!
DCW Training Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year of verifiable work experience (does not have to be in the HHA field)
  • Two (2) professional references
  • Successful completion of our 2-day virtual training
  • Pass a Competency Examination
  • Submit to a criminal background check in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Strong people skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills are highly desired

Upon successful completion of our training program, an offer of employment may be extended
