Job summary

MedStaffers in Reading, PA is urgently hiring Direct Care Workers to assist clients in their homes. Full time and part time hours are available Monday through Friday; daytime hours with some flexibility.

Workers help clients maintain independence with bathing, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Candidates need at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license or reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check and TB test.

Qualifications

• 1 year of home care experience preferred
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and complete (or provide) a two-step TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with bathing, laundry, light housekeeping and meal prep as needed.
• Reminds clients to take medications and coordinates with families or caregivers.
• Provides companionship and monitors client wellbeing to maintain independence at home.

URGENTLY HIRING! Berks County (Reading and surrounding communities). We are in need of Direct Care Workers to assist clients in their homes. Full time and part time hours Monday through Friday. Mostly seeking daylight hours but some flexibility. This is a great opportunity to help others while working around your schedule. Clients need assistance with tasks to maintain their independence at home.
