Job summary

Ribbleton Dental Centre in Preston is seeking an experienced Direct Access Dental Therapist to join our established 5-surgery practice. You will provide high-quality therapy and preventative care within your GDC scope, building your patient base and working with a supportive clinical team.

• GDC-registered Dental Therapist with Direct Access experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Access patient assessments and appropriate treatments.
• Deliver periodontal therapy, hygiene and preventative care.
• Educating patients on oral health and long-term prevention.
• Developing private services, including Airflow hygiene therapy and whitening where available.
• Working collaboratively with dentists and referring patients when appropriate.
• Building lasting patient relationships through excellent clinical care.

At Ribbleton Dental Centre, Preston, we're looking for a motivated and patient-focused Direct Access Dental Therapist to join our friendly, established 5-surgery practice.

We're ideally looking for a full-time clinician, although part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. Working days and hours can be discussed during the interview process.

Your Role

You'll provide high-quality dental therapy and preventative care, helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing Direct Access patient assessments and appropriate treatments
• Delivering periodontal therapy, hygiene and preventative dental care
• Educating patients on oral health and long-term prevention
• Developing private services, including Airflow hygiene therapy, teeth whitening and periodontal treatments, where available and within your scope of practice
• Working collaboratively with our dentists and referring patients when appropriate
• Building lasting patient relationships through excellent clinical care

What we're looking for

• Current GDC registration as a Dental Therapist
• Experience and confidence working under Direct Access
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• A passion for preventative, periodontal and minimally invasive dentistry
• An interest in developing private treatments and expanding their clinical experience
• A friendly, professional and collaborative approach
