Job summary

University of London’s Senate House Library seeks a Digitisation Coordinator to lead our in-house digitisation studio and line-manage the Digitisation Officer. You will coordinate publisher and grant-funded projects and develop workflows to improve online visibility of rare collections.

You will apply current and emerging digital preservation strategies and metadata practices, solving challenges with staff at all levels to support ambitious digitisation goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in digitisation workflows and digital preservation strategies.
• Ability to line manage staff and coordinate multiple digitisation projects.
• Knowledge of metadata and discovery workflows to maximise online visibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Digitisation Studio and line-manage the Digitisation Officer.
• Coordinate publisher, internal and grant-funded digitisation projects.
• Work with the Metadata & Discovery Manager to implement new workflows.
