Our client in Worcester is seeking an Interim Digitalisation Project Leader to head digitalisation initiatives on a 12-month contract. You will plan, deliver and oversee digital projects across operations, manufacturing and IT, driving automation, data integrity and enhanced process controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading digital transformation projects in manufacturing or similar operational environments.
• Strong project management skills delivering multiple projects on time and budget.
• Experience automating processes with digital workflows and process optimisation.
• Knowledge of quality management, compliance processes and operational controls.
• Experience using reporting and data analysis tools to support performance decisions.
• Continuous Improvement experience, including process mapping and optimisation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Resilient, adaptable and committed to driving positive change with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and implementation of digitalisation projects across the business.
• Develop project plans, manage timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, visibility, compliance and controls.
• Identify opportunities to replace manual processes with digital workflows and automation.
• Improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities and operational controls.
• Support automation and real-time data management implementations.
• Promote standardisation across business processes.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to senior leadership on performance, risks and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain and IT.
• Manage relationships with external consultants and ensure timely, quality work.
• Engage stakeholders to define requirements and adoption of new systems.
• Provide guidance during implementation and change initiatives.
• Champion continuous improvement culture and positive change.
• Maintain strong on-site presence across multiple locations.
• Build effective relationships with operational teams to deliver projects.
• Hands-on approach to implementing practical digital solutions delivering measurable improvements.
• Undertake additional project and business transformation activities as required.
