Fabulous is the leading women’s lifestyle brand in the country and we are looking for the most talented and committed journalists to join us.

The role

We are seeking a Digital Writer to work within the digital team to generate traffic‑driving stories and engaging features which lead the agenda among women’s lifestyle sites.

This is a hybrid role where you will need to be available to travel to London three days a week and be flexible to work weekend shifts and evenings when required.

Day to day you will

• Spot and produce brilliant, traffic‑driving stories and always beat competitors to the biggest talkers of the day
• Create varied idea lists taking in viral stories, emerging trends and original takes on news stories
• Be comfortable producing hard‑hitting features relevant to the Fabulous audience
• Have a keen eye for visuals to ensure stories are always illustrated with the best pictures, videos and graphics
• Be happy interviewing a wide range of people including celebrities, experts and real‑life case studies
• Be able to produce sparkling copy at speed and to tight deadlines
• Use your knowledge of SEO and web publishing
• Be a self‑starter – you will need to thrive under the pressure of a busy newsroom and take initiative
• Use your knowledge of the IPSO Code of Conduct, media law and ethical considerations
