Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Video Assistant Producer, with a genuine passion for creating high quality and engaging content, to join our expanding digital video team. In this varied role, you will play a significant role in the ideation, creation and delivery of original videos across social media, YouTube and our owned platform, All Red Video.

Responsibilities
  • Produce high-performing digital video content.
  • Service All Red Video and Liverpool FC’s global YouTube channel with a regular content and assist with the channel management of both.
  • Support the social media team to develop new and existing digital video formats.
  • Create engaging content using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and other industry standard software.
  • Work effectively within our team of digital video specialists to meet the demands of a busy content schedule.
  • Publish and schedule videos using a content management system.
  • Write impactful video headlines and descriptions, with an understanding on key words for SEO optimisation.
  • Plan, create and publish video content across matchdays for Liverpool FC’s men’s, women’s and academy teams.
  • Be available to travel with the first team and work on location during pre-season tours and training camps.
  • Plan and lead shoots with Liverpool FC’s men’s, women’s and academy players.
  • Oversee live streams and assist with the community management of our YouTube channel.
  • Support partnership activations and key club marketing campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of the latest video trends and platform tools.
  • Ensure content is geared towards the club’s key goals and objectives.
  • Prioritise your work around the first team match cycle and training schedule.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion, knowledge and interest in football and a desire to be a part of Liverpool’s future success.

You will have a proven track record for creating engaging digital video content and be confident pitching your ideas and leading on shoots. You will be a creative thinker with a solid grasp of what works online and how to capitalise on trends.

You must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, whilst experience of After Effects is also preferable. Ideally, we’re looking for someone with previous knowledge of YouTube creator studio and experience of using content management systems.

As our working environment is fast paced, you will need to be comfortable operating in extremely high-pressured situations. Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for somebody who is flexible and willing to work around the football calendar, including weekends and evenings where necessary.

It would be beneficial for you to have a good understanding of Liverpool Football Club’s unique heritage, history and culture.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7-day basis.

Your main base will be our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey.
