Salary & Benefits

Starting salary: £32,000, rising to £37,000 by end of year 2

Extras: £2,000 signing bonus, annual bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + wellness day

Location: West Yorkshire with requirement for flexible travel across Yorkshire & Humber.

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday.

The Graduate Programme

The Graduate Programme is a two year programme offering five structured placements within your business area, with selective placements in other areas, including core functions such as Finance, Health & Safety, People, or Procurement, to provide a holistic and rounded business learning journey. The variety within the programme will see you working across our business and undertaking activities alongside colleagues to meet challenges in the industry, including net zero carbon ambitions and planning for drought or flood events. The programme is designed to meet individual needs with a balanced development programme that includes technical and leadership training, supported by Sponsoring Managers, Graduate Champions, Mentors and a core programme team from day one.

Where Youll Fit In

As a Digital UX Graduate, you will:

  • Join our existing Business Insights and Service Planning team within Customer Experience.
  • Help modernise our digital capability to underpin an improved customer journey and experience.
  • Identify opportunities to remove wastage from customer contact strategies through technologies like asynchronous messaging.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across Yorkshire Water to streamline processes through technology.
  • For your duration in the role, you will be assigned a line manager and a mentor from within the Business Insights and Planning Service community.

What Were Looking For
  • A minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • An individual with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-centric environment, building designs that improve the experience we deliver.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable Previous Experience

Experience in user research, wireframing & prototyping, interaction design and portfolio development are important for the role.
