A leading water utility company is seeking a Digital UX Graduate to enhance customer experience through improved digital capabilities. The successful candidate will join a structured two-year graduate programme involving diverse placements across various functions. Key qualifications include a minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree and strong design skills. This role offers a competitive starting salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Yorkshire Water Graduate Scheme Digital UX Graduate
Starting salary: £32,000, rising to £37,000 by end of year 2
Extras: £2,000 signing bonus, annual bonus, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + wellness day
Location: West Yorkshire with requirement for flexible travel across Yorkshire & Humber.
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday.
The Graduate Programme is a two year programme offering five structured placements within your business area, with selective placements in other areas, including core functions such as Finance, Health & Safety, People, or Procurement, to provide a holistic and rounded business learning journey. The variety within the programme will see you working across our business and undertaking activities alongside colleagues to meet challenges in the industry, including net zero carbon ambitions and planning for drought or flood events. The programme is designed to meet individual needs with a balanced development programme that includes technical and leadership training, supported by Sponsoring Managers, Graduate Champions, Mentors and a core programme team from day one.

Experience in user research, wireframing & prototyping, interaction design and portfolio development are important for the role.
