  • Incorporate key market and customer insights into trade planning to identify competitive opportunities.
  • Ensure Digital Content, Experience and Product teams’ roadmaps support event and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with Nectar360 to maximise monetisation opportunities on high‑traffic and event pages.
  • Work closely with Digital Operations to ensure operational readiness for key trading events and protect customer service levels.
Qualifications and experience
  • In‑depth understanding of Digital retail, ideally in a large retail organisation with customer‑centric experience (essential).
  • Skilled in web‑analysis and performance data to inform strategic decisions; Adobe experience highly desirable (essential).
  • Experience managing and developing customer and trading plans, from strategy to communication (essential).
  • Strong grasp of the Digital retail market and factors influencing channel performance and customer expectations.
  • Ability to quickly identify trading risks and opportunities, and seek effective solutions.
  • Highly analytical and confident with commercial measures and metrics.
  • Confident communicator, able to present to large audiences and deliver effective written communications with data and story visualisation.
  • Able to influence broader business decisions and prioritisation, ensuring digital requirements are met.
Benefits & culture
  • We are committed to being a truly inclusive retailer so you’ll be welcomed whatever you are and wherever you work. Around here, there’s always the chance to try something new – whether as part of an evolving team or somewhere else across the business – and we take development seriously and promise to support you.
  • Here are some of them – starting off with colleague discount, you’ll be able to save 10% on your shopping online and in‑store at Sainsbury’s, Argos, TU and Habitat. We also regularly increase the discount to 15% at points during the year. We’ve also got you covered for your future with our pensions scheme and life cover. You may be eligible for a performance‑related bonus of up to 20% of salary, depending on how we perform.
  • Your wellbeing is important to us too. You’ll receive an annual holiday allowance, and you can buy up to an additional week’s holiday, and we provide private healthcare. We also offer other benefits that will help your money go further such as season ticket loans, interest‑free car loan up to £10k, cycle‑to‑work scheme, health cash plans, salary advance and access to a great range of discounts from hundreds of other retailers.
  • Moments that matter are as important to us as they are to you – which is why we give up to 26 weeks’ pay for maternity or adoption leave and up to 4 weeks’ pay for paternity leave. We also offer an Employee Assistance Programme.
