BDO Services Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager in the Digital Third Party Assurance team in the UK. You will support organisations in building trust with customers, regulators and partners, working on SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402 and other assurance engagements and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and DORA.

The role requires delivering assurance, audit or risk engagements related to technology, cybersecurity, privacy or operational controls, with strong ITGC testing understanding and ability

Qualifications

• Experience delivering assurance, audit, compliance or risk engagements relating to technology, cybersecurity, privacy or operational controls.
• Strong ITGC testing understanding.
• Understanding of assurance frameworks and standards like SOC 1, ISAE 3402, SOC 2, ISAE 3000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST or similar.

Responsabilités

• Support organisations in building trust and confidence with customers, regulators and business partners.
• Deliver assurance engagements including SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, ISO 27001 and related certifications.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of governance, technology, cybersecurity, privacy and process controls.
• Lead small teams and collaborate with senior internal stakeholders.

As an Assistant Manager within our Digital Third Party Assurance team, you will support organisations in building trust and confidence with their customers, regulators and business partners. You will have the opportunity to work on SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402 and ISAE 3000 engagements, certification programmes such as ISO 27001 and ISO 42001, and assurance projects focused on regulations including DORA, DSA, DMA, UKGC RTS and GDPR.

You’ll be someone with:

• Experience delivering assurance, audit, compliance or risk engagements relating to technology, cybersecurity, privacy or operational controls. Strong ITGC testing understanding.
• Strong understanding of assurance frameworks and standards, including one or more of: SOC 1 / ISAE 3402, SOC 2, ISAE 3000, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HITRUST or other recognised assurance or certification frameworks
• Understanding of digital regulations and compliance requirements such as DORA, GDPR, UKGC RTS or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of governance, technology, cybersecurity, privacy and business process controls.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines..
• Experience leading small teams and collaborating effectively withsenior internal stakeholders.
