Job summary

UCB invites applications for a Digital Technology Lab Technology & Operations Specialist focused on GLP and GCP environments. The role centers on defining, implementing, and managing technology solutions that support Research & Early Development, ensuring lab automation platforms and IT systems are compliant and well-integrated.

The successful candidate will work with Research stakeholders, Digital Technology colleagues, QA and Compliance to uphold quality and drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in IT, engineering, life sciences or related field.
• Strong technical affinity with IT systems and scientific instrumentation.
• 3+ years in a similar role within GxP environments.
• Experience in managing digital lab automation and research workflows.
• Experience with Modeling and Simulations tools (Nonmem, R, Python).
• Knowledge of IT compliance frameworks (e.g., Computerized Systems Validation).
• Ability to manage stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in technology project management from strategy to implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, ideally with knowledge of French.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-level technical support for owned systems and lead vendor coordination.

We are looking for a Digital Technology Lab Technology & Operations Specialist who is proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative to join our Digital Technology Patient Solutions team, based in our office in Slough, United Kingdom.

About the Role

You will play a key role in defining, implementing, and managing technology solutions that support Research & Early Development activities, particularly within Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) environments. Your expertise will ensure that lab automation platforms and scientific IT systems are effectively integrated, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
