Our team are based within the Programme Management Service in the Resources and Transformation Directorate, and we are responsible for managing and delivering a variety of exciting large-scale programmes throughout Bloxwich and Walsall including Bloxwich Launchpad.
The Bloxwich Launchpad is the Town Deal’s flagship project, situated at the heart of the town centre, just off the High Street. This £3million investment is a clear statement of intent by Walsall Council, government and key stakeholders to local people and businesses. To deliver effective and first-class specialist services, support and training to local people looking to develop their skills or start to grow their business.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who has an interest in developing a career in Digital Technical Support. This apprenticeship role will be varied not only in the technical learning covered but also in relation to the sites you will be working at, mainly Bloxwich Launchpad but with requirement to work from the Guild Hall and Walsall Council House, with possible exposure to other locations. The role will also involve working with delivery partners, incubates, local community and businesses to provide technical support within the centre as and where required.
You should have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above with good written and verbal communication skills and a strong interest in IT Technical Support. The successful applicant should possess the ability to adapt to a challenging and often changing environment.
