Job summary

Burman Recruitment partners with a forward‑thinking Higher Education organisation in the UK. The Digital Solutions Team designs, builds, tests and maintains enterprise applications and digital platforms serving a diverse user community.

You will work with cross‑functional teams across disciplines, gain exposure to NestJS, TypeScript, React and .NET, and contribute to bug fixes, feature development, and documentation to improve performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and database technologies.
• Knowledge of modern development frameworks including NestJS, SQL/PL-SQL and enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality solutions.
• Effective organisational and communication skills.
• Positive, proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• A degree in computing or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug software applications and services.
• Participate in peer code reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver objectives and solutions.
• Support software testing activities including unit and manual testing.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records.
• Enhance and support existing applications with bug fixes and features.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting across digital systems.
• Contribute to design and implementation of innovative digital solutions.
