Job summary

National Fire Chiefs Council Limited is seeking a Digital Solutions Development Architect for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to lead the development of service systems using Microsoft Power Platform, working with stakeholders on design, testing and implementation.

You will manage supplier relationships, lead systems development, and contribute to the Digital Data & Technology Strategy while ensuring security and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full software development lifecycle from client spec to deployment.
• Excellent communication skills with internal/external stakeholders and ability to participate in meetings as a key stakeholder.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Level 5 qualification in computer development or relevant equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Service systems using Microsoft Power Platform and other tools; design, test and implement with stakeholders.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure interoperable databases and systems.
• Lead on Systems Development and contribute to Digital Data & Technology Strategy with the team.
• Recommend solutions to meet Service needs with best value, ensuring governance and policy alignment.
