Job Title

Digital Solutions Analyst – Supply Chain

Location

Salary

From £42,215 depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing
  • Performing business and technical analysis on digital solutions for the Supply Chain function, collaborating closely with stakeholders within IM&T and submarine delivery programmes.
  • Identifying the optimal digital change to improve the performance of the Supply Chain function, alongside that of the wider submarine delivery programme, guiding small project teams to deliver such solutions.
  • Supporting the introduction of technical change governance and process to improve overall systems reliability and function.
  • Using appropriate methods and a systematic approach in the development, maintenance, control and publication of quality Business Analysis outputs.
  • Contributing to Supply Chain Excellence by supporting activities that deliver on People, Process & Technology, ensuring the Supply Chain function is fit for the future.
Your skills and experiences

Essential:

  • Experience of business analysis for digital solutions within a large, complex organisation, including as-is and to-be business process mapping.
  • Experience performing technical analysis, alongside a good working knowledge of digital solutions including ERP, Database, Reporting & Web.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Supply Chain experience, ideally within aerospace, defence or MOD.
  • Professional Supply Chain or project management qualifications (e.g., CIPS or APM).

The Supply Chain Digital & Data team

Yours will be a key role within Supply Chain Excellence, responsible for optimising a submarine supply chain handling a significant proportion of the UK defence budget. This is a fast‑paced, commercially driven procurement and logistics environment with a varied range of development opportunities, including within the wider BAE Group. You will be working as part of a diverse team to deliver a crucial part of the UK's National Defence Programme. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
