Job summary

Sanderson is seeking an experienced Digital Solution Architect to join our Financial Services practice in the UK. You will define end-to-end solution architectures across multiple programmes, engaging stakeholders and ensuring alignment with both delivery goals and long-term strategy.

You will work across applications, integration and data environments, provide architectural guidance, produce design artefacts and roadmaps, and support delivery teams through the lifecycle.

Digital Solution Architect - Financial Services

Rate: £600 - £650per day Inside IR35 (Total rate to umbrella)

Duration: 12 months initial

Location: Birmingham or London - 2 days per week on site

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a complex enterprise environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple workstreams and technologies. You'll be responsible for shaping solution designs, engaging with stakeholders across the business and ensuring technology solutions are aligned with both immediate delivery goals and longer term strategy.

You'll need to be comfortable operating in a broad architecture role, partnering with business leaders, delivery teams, engineers and third party suppliers to drive successful outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

• Defining end to end solution architectures across a range of projects and programmes.
• Working with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Producing architecture documentation, design artefacts and technical roadmaps.
• Supporting delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring solutions align with architectural standards, security requirements and governance processes.
• Reviewing existing systems and identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification.
• Providing architectural guidance and assurance across multiple initiatives.
