Overview

Digital Skills Programme Manager, c£35-£38k, Hybrid London NW5

An outstanding opportunity exists in this role for an expanding charity based in London for a Charity Programme Manager with particular expertise / interest in monitoring, evaluation and impact to head up their team in delivering Digital Inclusion and Digital Skills to their beneficiaries. In this role you will provide programme leadership and delivery, leading the design and strategic direction of their Digital Skills programme and ensuring the service provided is high-quality, trauma-informed and aligned with the charity’s 5-year strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the Digital Skills programme, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services aligned with the charity’s five-year strategy.
  • Oversee onboarding and support for hundreds of beneficiaries developing digitally, including supporting the development of Independent Learning Plans and journeys through Digital Champions; trial innovative digital inclusion tools and approaches.
  • Design and oversee comprehensive impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation frameworks; produce data-centered programme and impact reports (quantitative and qualitative) for existing and prospective funders and partners.
  • Drive the recruitment, training and support of Digital Champions and volunteers; line-manage staff as the team scales in a kind and considerate way.
  • Support the Outreach team in building and maintaining partnerships with corporate, charity and government partners; represent the organisation externally; assist in collecting and providing programme data and case studies for fundraising bids.
  • Manage significant budgetary responsibility; report updates to the CEO; ensure compliance with funding requirements, GDPR, safeguarding and H&S policies.
Qualifications
  • Significant expertise / interest in charity programme management, with a preference for experience in digital inclusion, adult education or refugee support; ideally experience working with refugees/asylum seekers OR deep expertise in digital inclusion and commitment to learning from refugee experience.
  • Strong monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills; financial management experience (budgets, reporting); experience supporting fundraising through impact reporting and case studies (desirable).
  • Excellent relationship-building skills; experience managing, training and motivating staff and volunteers.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organisational and collaborative skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
Contract and application details
