Looking for an opportunity to join an innovative company who value and reward their employees?

Who are we?

Bauer Media Outdoor is one of the leading Out of Home media owners with more than 40,000 advertising sites in our portfolio. We are committed to creating the Future of Media, Out of Home. We’re at the forefront of the change in our industry, making innovative use of digital technology.

If you like what you have read so far then our Digital Service Operative role could be a great fit for you. You’ll be a part of our wider operations team based at our Cumbernauld depot, providing a hands-on digital maintenance service for all the company’s digital advertising units.

The work is field based, with some on call responsibility on a rota basis, and will require you to visit our digital sites across Scotland, to carry out digital installation and repairs to set specifications and timescales. We offer an attractive salary of £28,000 per annum, a quarterly and annual company bonus, flexible working and a fully expensed company vehicle, tools and PPE.

What will you be doing?

As the digital expert in your area, you’ll have routine maintenance to carry out, but you’ll also be responsible for fixing faults that are called in and responding to call outs within the agreed timeframe. You’ll manage and record stock levels for all components you need to fulfil your job.

You’ll also be responsible for

  • Fault-find and repair/replace component level parts on digital advertising units - on-site.

  • Install and remove smaller digital advertising units from pubs & bars.

  • General upkeep of your company van (supplied for business use only)

  • Liaise with other CCUK employees, digital support, the construction team and some suppliers/clients to install, maintain and repair units.

  • Comply with Clear Channel UK Health & Safety Policy at all times when carrying out role and activities.

  • Compile both technical reports and performance/reliability information as and when required.

This is a physically demanding role which requires you to work at height when dealing with some of our larger digital units. You’ll be self-motivated and incredibly patient as this can be delicate and fiddly work.

If you show willing and you go above and beyond your day role there is the opportunity to progress within your role/team and the wider department.

For the successful candidate, Clear Channel offers:

  • A salary of £30,600

  • A fully expensed Company Vehicle for business use including travel to the branch.

  • Quarterly & Annual Bonus Scheme

  • Additional overtime opportunities

  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

  • Company Pension Scheme paid up to 8%

  • Healthcare Cash Plan

  • Life Insurance and income protection scheme

  • Travel/Season Ticket loans and a whole host of discounts across 100s of retailers

  • Social events

  • Charity days

  • Cycle to work scheme
