Job summary

LGfL - SuperCloud is seeking an experienced safeguarding professional to support schools nationwide from its London base. The role is hybrid with some national travel.

You will design and deliver high-quality CPD and training for teachers, school leaders and governors, and create dynamic resources mapped to statutory RSHE and Online Safety guidance to build digital literacy. You will also translate complex digital risks into practical safeguarding practice across primary to MAT settings.

Qualifications

  • Background: you hold a degree (or equivalent) and bring a background as a Qualified Teacher (QTS), Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), or similar role in education/social care.
  • Experience: at least 5 years in a school, local authority, or MAT directly supporting safeguarding or digital leadership.
  • Communication Power: confident public speaker who can make technical risks accessible for staff and students.
  • Statutory Knowledge: up-to-date understanding of KCSIE, RSHE guidance, Gen AI developments, and broader child protection trends.
  • The Right Mindset: belief in digital balance and empowering children to navigate the digital world safely.

Responsibilities

  • Empowering Educators: Designing and delivering CPD and training sessions for teachers, school leaders, and governors.
  • Shaping the Curriculum: Creating resources mapped to RSHE and Online Safety guidance to build digital literacy.
  • Demystifying Technology: Explaining filtering and monitoring settings to help schools meet statutory standards under KCSIE.
  • Solving Complex Problems: Providing expert guidance to Designated Safeguarding Leads handling online harms or incidents.
  • Amplifying the Message: Writing blogs, drafting policy templates, or filming clips to explain digital safety concepts to parents and teachers.
