Job summary

Adam Smith International seeks a Manager to build and deliver a growing digital public finance portfolio. You will shape ideas, oversee delivery, and coordinate with governments, engineers, funders and partners across Africa, Asia and fragile states.

You will translate policy needs into clear product requirements, manage the lifecycle from discovery to roll-out, and help ensure projects stay on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• Experience at the intersection of technology and public policy or government.
• Hands-on experience building or managing digital products.
• Strong English communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Grow ASI’s digital public finance portfolio: identify opportunities and turn ideas into fundable proposals.
• Lead ideation and early-design of new offers with stakeholders and funders.
• Bridge government, technical teams and funders to translate policy needs into product requirements.
• Oversee product lifecycle: discovery, prototyping, testing, rollout with agile methods.
• Manage day-to-day project delivery: timelines, budgets and reporting.
