Job description
Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital Programme Manager to lead a major Pharmacy Digital Transformation Programme at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH). The role will transition legacy systems to the Epic electronic patient record (EPR) and shape the future of Pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and programme oversight, developing robust project plans, governance structures and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the design, implementation, testing and validation of new digital workflows with digital, pharmacy and clinical teams.
  • Coordinate programme deliverables across complex workstreams and ensure successful integration with internal systems and external suppliers.
  • Engage a broad range of stakeholders including pharmacy leadership, IT, finance, clinicians, third‑party providers and national bodies.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end planning, execution and evaluation of the pharmacy digital transformation business case.
  • Deliver regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders, including the CIO and Chief Pharmacist, and represent the programme at executive and national forums.
  • Lead a team responsible for project delivery.
