Allstate NI in Belfast seeks a Digital Product Manager Expert for Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code to translate the broader product vision into a focused strategy, roadmap, prioritised capabilities and measurable outcomes.
You will improve how infrastructure is created, changed, secured, operated and recovered by replacing manual and inconsistent work with reusable, tested and supported product capabilities.
At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers' evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.
The Core Engineering & Platform (CEP) provides a transformative platform ecosystem that empowers end users and digital product teams to innovate seamlessly and support Allstate's Consumer Connected Cloud mission. The ecosystem is designed to create a frictionless experience for its user community.
As the Digital Product Manager Expert for a defined area of the enterprise Infrastructure as Code and Engineering as Code product, you will translate the broader product vision into a focused strategy, roadmap, prioritised capabilities and measurable outcomes. You will improve how infrastructure is created, changed, secured, operated and recovered by replacing manual and inconsistent work with reusable, tested and supported product capabilities.
You will work across infrastructure engineering, platform teams, operations, architecture, security and internal customers. The role requires sufficient technical fluency in cloud, infrastructure automation and modern engineering practices to evaluate options, make informed trade-offs, sequence work and guide delivery without acting as the hands‑on engineering owner.
Success will be measured through practical improvements in infrastructure delivery, including fewer manual hand-offs, greater reuse of approved components, more consistent application of controls, simpler customer experiences, stronger recovery capabilities and increased adoption of code-driven engineering practices.
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.
