Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing a leading packaging and print manufacturing business in their search for a Digital Printer to work in Wrexham. You will support the daily digital printing requirements of an HP Indigo digital press within a busy manufacturing environment, ensuring artwork requirements are understood and job specifications are met.

The role offers a permanent contract with a quad shift pattern (three 12-hour shifts per week) and training shifts, plus benefits including 22 days’

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating or working with an HP Indigo digital press is essential.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a busy production environment.
• Excellent communication skills when liaising with production colleagues and site management.
• Experience working in a high-volume, low-unit-cost manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily digital printing requirements of an HP Indigo digital press within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Understand artwork requirements and manage DFE file transfer processes.

Recruit4staff are representing a leading packaging and print manufacturing business in their search for a Digital Printer to work in Wrexham.

Job Details

• Pay: Up to £35,000 per annum


• Hours of Work: Quad shift pattern, working three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. Monday to Friday day shifts during the training period.


• Duration: Permanent


• Benefits: 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme (4% employee contribution and 5% employer contribution).


• Job Role: As a Digital Printer, you will support the daily digital printing requirements of an HP Indigo digital press within a busy manufacturing environment. The Digital Printer will be responsible for understanding artwork requirements, managing DFE file transfer processes, and interpreting job specifications to ensure production requirements are met accurately and efficiently. Working closely with production colleagues and site management, the Digital Printer will help maintain print quality, production efficiency and business targets.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous experience operating or working with an HP Indigo digital press is essential for this Digital Printer position.
