We’re a successful digital print, production and installation company based just a stone’s throw from the centre of Birmingham, outside of the CAZ area with easy access to local road, tram and rail networks.

This is a fantastic new opportunity for the ideal candidate to join a growing design and large format digital print production company servicing mainly blue‑chip end users. The experienced candidate we’re looking for will have at least three to four years of industry experience conducive to the role and be a fantastic communicator both with clients and colleagues. We operate Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm; you may occasionally be required to work overtime during the week and the occasional weekend depending on the current workload.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of our Production Team reporting to our Production Manager in the manufacture of a variety of products either autonomously or as part of a team. The ideal candidate:

  • Will be responsible for all printing, finishing and quality checking of all work undertaken.
  • Manage the work using flatbed and roll‑fed digital printing machines, laminators, CAD‑cutting machinery and advise team leaders of any flaws in a job before issues arise.
  • Follow instruction and existing operational procedures to the letter and query the Line Manager if unsure.
  • Be flexible in carrying out ad‑hoc duties as required, including assisting or undertaking fitting work externally or on site.
  • Have a proficient knowledge of and ability to use RIP software such as Caldera, Versaworks and CAD.
  • Be able to learn and develop expertise in analogue and digital equipment.
  • Follow all instructions and existing operational procedures to the letter.
  • Have a professional understanding of how clients use printed products and related services in general.
  • Operational experience of using a guillotine and forklift driving is an advantage but not essential.
