Overview

Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off 6:00am – 8:00pm

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Digital Print Operative to join a fast-paced Print & Finishing department within a leading visual communications business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in print production who takes pride in delivering quality work and wants to be part of a collaborative and agile team.

Digital Print Operative Responsibilities

• Process incoming work from the repro/print department
• Ensure correct sizing and apply the appropriate correction curves
• Quality check all jobs according to job specifications
• Maintain workflow and adhere to the production schedule
• Report major issues to the supervisor or manager
• Resolve minor issues independently to maintain job flow
• Maintain machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations
• Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe
• Select the correct media profile and rip the job for print (training provided if required)

Digital Print Operative Required Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of print production practices
• Experience with digital print machinery (e.g., HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek) is an advantage
