About the Role

ABUHB is an integrated, progressive and ambitious teaching and research organisation that is delivering a major programme of change to transform healthcare. Within the Digital, Data & Technology Directorate, the Digital PMO Analyst will manage the Directorate Portfolio Register and provide oversight of all agreed priorities across the Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) Directorate, supporting operational effectiveness and optimising services across the portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducting accurate and detailed portfolio analysis, interpretation and presentation of complex data to create portfolio‑level reports for the Senior Management Team, making recommendations to support effective decision‑making.
  • Supporting portfolio prioritisation, risk management and financial controls.
  • Collaborating with the Head of DPMO to provide a common framework of good practice standards, tools, templates and processes.
  • Contributing towards the Digital, Data & Technology IMTP and subsequent delivery in support of the Head of DPMO and Assistant Director of Digital Transformation, and in collaboration with other Senior Managers.
  • Utilising specialist knowledge and expertise in Microsoft 365 products and their application to support efficient and effective portfolio management.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Experience in portfolio or project management within a digital transformation environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the Health Board, NHS and third‑party organisations.
  • Good understanding of risk management, financial controls and prioritisation frameworks.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
