The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is hiring a Business Applications Specialist in London. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising business applications, supporting reporting, and incident management for integrations between apps and databases.

Initially you will lead the implementation of the digital experience platform and intranet, acting as a technical lead within the Digital Communications team and coordinating with external partners.

Formación

• Experience with managing server and software configurations (Apache/Tomcat/SSL Certificates/IIS).
• Knowledge of install/upgrade/maintenance of third-party applications supporting HR, Finance, and Student Lifecycle.
• Ability to utilise scripting languages and tools (e.g., Javascript, CSS/HTML, Python, PowerShell).
• Strong technical background in Linux/Windows/MS SQL/Oracle.

Responsabilidades

• Work with product owners to understand application roadmaps and maximize value from products.
• Support reporting tools and incident management for integrations between applications and databases.
• Lead maintenance projects and provide SME and 3rd line support for application services.
• Initial focus on implementing the digital experience platform and delivering the school intranet.
