Job description
Job Overview

As a frontline Digital Operations Technician you’ll be working within the Digital Operations Team to support the entire NCA Estate. You will provide assistance to your Digital agents within your team and work together with all teams in Digital to deliver the best possible outcomes for our staff.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and implement network communications.
  • Resolve user system faults and install systems and products to meet user requirements.
  • Ensure information security and maintain quality assurance.
  • Provide 2nd line digital system support for hardware and software issues across the Trust.
  • Investigate a range of IM&T issues, log and update Digital ITSM incidents, problems and changes.
  • Advise staff on digital systems and policy where relevant.
  • Maintain hardware and software supported by the Digital Operations.
  • Assist colleagues ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery of IT systems and efficient resolution of faults.
  • Contribute to delivery of Digital projects and solutions.
  • Install, commission and maintain computerised hardware and software systems, networks and telecommunications solutions.
  • Provide out‑of‑hours cover for critical systems as part of a rota, including key‑holder and unsupervised hours outside normal business hours.
  • Work alongside Digital Operations Engineers to achieve best outcomes for NCA staff.
Qualifications

Excellent face‑to‑face customer service, communication, interpersonal skills and proven technical knowledge of hardware and software applications. Awareness of server and network issues. Requires a full UK driving licence and a car. Experience managing IT issues, system accounts, applications and hardware is essential. Analytical skills to drive continual improvement and monitor customer satisfaction.
